This Russian variety is named for the city of Astrakhan, located on the Volga river near the Caspian Sea. Round 10"-12" fruit have dark green rind with light mottling and streaks. The pink flesh is very delicious and sweet; great for short-season areas.Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds
